I like to see when my clients receive unprecedented engagement on their social media due to my work, or when my work is featured on other social media pages. McBride Media LLC offers photography, videography, & advertising services to individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. McBride Media – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition? I’m blessed to have a community that is very supportive of my work, & to have people that give me advice on how to better my craft and business. I’ve been in business for about a year now, & it’s been smooth sailing for the most part.
In July of 2019, I bought my own camera equipment & established McBride Media LLC. After working with him for a few months, I felt I was ready to start my own business. I also met a content creator named Sheldon Whitfield that really took me under his wing by teaching me photography & lighting techniques. My school provides all students with Adobe Creative Cloud accounts, so I spent a lot of time at “YouTube University” learning apps such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc. That following week, I went back to the library to extend my camera rental so I could learn more about photography & videography. The pictures I took of my girlfriend received a lot of positive feedback on social media, & that’s when I realized I had an eye for this line of work.
I checked out a Canon T5i from my school’s library so my girlfriend & I could have some dope pictures of the formal we were attending. The first time I picked up a camera was my sophomore year of college. Three years ago, I would have never pictured myself in this industry.
